I started my first personal finance blog in 2007. It was called doughroller.net. At the time, two of the existing personal finance blogs were ConsumerismCommentary.com and FiveCentNickel.com. I knew both founders, and enjoyed watching both sites grow.
In about 2016, I had the opportunity to buy both sites. I ran them myself for several years, sold them, and bought them back again a few years ago.
Running this website and my Youtube channel is a lot of work. Trying to run multiple websites is just too much. So I’ve closed the two sites and redirected them to this page.
This site is focused on investing, retirement planning and money management.
